What is an SAT?

The common term for the Scholarship Aptitude Test is SAT. This exam is taken by high school students and other senior students to apply to a university and college. SAT Exam Registration

The mode of registration and exam can be either online or offline. If you plan to choose the online mode, you will have to go to the official website for the SAT and register for the exam by completing the online procedure. For offline registrations, you need to get yourself registered by mail.

SAT Exam Format

There are three sections in the SAT exam. These sections combine reading, writing, and mathematics. Since the SAT is a timed test, this test is open for 3 hours and 45 minutes( with breaks of 15 minutes each ). 

The reading section includes passages and sentence completion. You will be asked a few questions related to the passage, and you will also be asked to pick the correct word with correct grammar to complete the sentences. Common vocabulary words are enough to complete this section of the SAT. The writing section has multiple-choice questions and essay writing. It is to check your grammar and usage.
